Delete account
You can delete your account at any time, directly from the website or the app. No explanation needed and no retention process.
Self-deletion
On the account page, at the bottom of the screen, there is a delete button. It asks for one confirmation and deletes immediately.
If you cannot log in
Someone who logged in with Google and lost access to their Google account cannot log in to delete. In that case, send us a message from the email address you registered with, and we will delete it for you.
We respond within one business day. If the request comes from a different address we will ask for verification, so we don't delete someone else's account.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted permanently:
- The profile — name, email address, phone and the link to your Google account.
- The favourites list and saved filters.
- The preferences — search range, kashrut level and language.
- The reviews you wrote.
- All login tokens, on all devices.
Kept, for the following reasons:
- Details of the establishments themselves — they come from the official publication of the Ministry of Religious Services and do not belong to the account.
- Billing records, if you purchased an advertising package — required by law for accounting purposes.
- Technical access logs without personal identifiers, automatically deleted after 180 days.
Within what timeframe
Self-service deletion is immediate. Requests by email are handled within one business day, and no later than 30 days.
